It's called the Oregon "Coast" not the Oregon "beach" for a reason.
340 days out of the year raincoats and windbreakers are more appropriate than bikini's. Bundling up is worth it though to trek through the eerie forests that line this misty coastline. Every so often a well worn path gives way to breathtaking views of the rock formations that plunge into the ocean. Just driving along Highway 101 is otherworldly.
